Application procedures

 
The incoming students should be first nominated by the responsible person from the sending institution. The nomination should specify which Study Programme the student is applying for:
 
Deadlines for incoming applications from our partner schools
  • Participation in the program in the winter term: 15th May
  • Participation in the program in the summer term: 15th November

Upon being nominated the students should send the following documents to the Faculty of Fine Arts Erasmus+ Coordinator: Mgr. Roman Schwartz, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

1. CV in English
2. Portfolio (can be in PDF, Word)
 

The documents will be further sent and evaluated by the head of the chosen department.

Please note that the language of communication at our school is Slovak; however, our teachers and students are able to communicate with you in English. That said, we do not recommend choosing any theoretical courses if you are not fluent in Slovak language.

Erasmus Without Paper and Online Learning Agreement

As of 2022 and depending on your home university, you should/may use an Online Learning Agreement (OLA) in the framework of the Erasmus without Paper (EWP).

Please turn to your home university to obtain the template and signatures, if your home university is still using a paper-based or traditional Learning Agreement (LA). We at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica would prefer OLA but a traditional LA is also accepted if your school still does not work with EWP.
