Mesto je náš LAB - Manhattan ako pevná skala s dlhou históriou geologických príbehov. Naša metodika výskumu je založená na sedimentácii - premiestňovaní, ukladaní, spevňovaní a metamorfózach - tlaku, napätí, teplote.

V tomto geologickom laboratóriu sa zaoberáme kameňom ako artefaktom s vlastným vedomím, minulosťou, rozprávaním a príbehmi. Zaujíma nás stres, hystéria alebo uzemnenie prostredníctvom metamorfóz, ktorými kamene prechádzajú. Ako kamene formujú a predurčujú prostredie? Ako ovplyvňujeme a formujeme prostredie my? Rozštiepiť, rozlomiť, znehybniť. Vytvárame site-specific situácie, prostredníctvom ktorých rozprávame príbehy bytia v čase a priestore. Reflektujeme fyzické telo, ktoré prirovnávame ku kameňom - vykonávame ich (s nimi), stojíme s nimi, uzemňujeme sa, vlievame a vrastáme do nich. V čom spočíva kameň a aká je naša vzájomnosť?

The city is our LAB – Manhattan as the solid rock with the long history of geological stories. Our research methodology is based on the sedimentation - relocation, storage, reinforcement, and metamorphoses - pressure, stress, temperature.

In this geological lab we deal with the stone as an artifact with its own consciousness, past, narrative and storytelling. We are interested in stress, hysteria, or grounding through the metamorphoses that rocks undergo. How do the stones shape and predetermine the environment? How do we influence and shape the environment? Cleave, splinter, immobilize. We create site-specific situations through which we tell stories of being in time and space. We reflect on the physical body, which we liken to stones - we perform them (with them), stand with them, ground ourselves, infuse and grow into them. What is a stone all about and what is our mutuality?
