Casting Bridges

Project Casting Bridges in the Visegrad Area opens the possibility of metal casting experience in an international with under experts leadership for the students of sculpture from Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.

This year´s project is going to be the third year of casting workshop already. In past two years it has been focused mainly on creating technological base and international net of metal casting sculpture departments.

Project Casting Bridges in the Visegrad Area focuses on alternative metal casting and experimenting with ceramic raku technology. The working team consists of academic lecturers and their students from eight Visegrad universities. Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica is a hosting university.

Project has been developed thanks to enormous support of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk and Academy of Fine Arts of Eugeniusz Geppert in Wroclaw.
