Department of Sculpture

 

The preparatory studio is focusing on acquisition of basic attributes of artistic language with an emphasis on knowledge and skills in sculpture creation. Making improvements in artistic language, professional terminology and in basic attributes of contemporary sculpture creation. Acquiring knowledge in human body anatomy, its proportions, expression possibilities and space composition. Understanding the process of creation of sculpture reflection from a drawing- draft, modelling, to a final sculpture expression. Acquiring the overview in the most current sculpting tendencies. Realization of one’s own artistic projects with the use of various supplementary, alternative end materials and media, which will be followed by studies in specialized studios at the department of sculpture.
